3-D Crawfish Boil Cake

So, this is the 3-D Crawfish Boil Cake. It is a 2 layer 8" round torted and filled. The sides were iced with buttercream. The "handles" were wood covered in fondant....the only non edible piece. The food (corn, red potatoes, mushrooms, and garlic) were made of rice crispy treats, covered in melted chocolate (to make more smooth) and then covered in fondant. I painted on details for the food and made individula kernels for the corn on the cob. The crawfish were made from fondant in a mold.

I only regret not having a support plate under the food....it pressed down on the sides! :(
