This is a cake I am donating to a RCHAL (Roman Catholic Homeschool Association of Louisiana) event. It is based from a photo of a stainglassed window.

Easter

Well, Easter has come and gone. It was a long work weekend for me and a hard one. I attended Easter Day celebration with my family and brought a cake for the dessert. It nearly met my expectations but I was also trying a newer medium to me - color flow. The plaque on top and eggs on the side were color flow creations. They are very fragile guys....lesson learned.

Easter Egg Hunt Treats

So, these are sugar egg nests that I decorated with the help of Dear (AKA Mom) for the LVRC/VECC 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ. We had so much fun doing these. We made 45 of them....ugh. Glad we did the small ones and not the big boys!

Last Wilton Class Cake

Well, I am finished with the 4 standard Wilton Cake Decorating courses. This is the cake I made for the last class. I gave it to a local church family who just had a baby. I am on a Meals for New Moms committee.

I am very happy with how this cake came out although there were some boo-boos that I knew were there - isn't it always that way???

Cowboy Cake

This is the cake for tomorrow. It is for a co-worker's baby shower. I am happy with how it came out. Not exactly what I drew on the sketch but pretty close.
